Embracing Impermanence
Embracing Impermanence
I see many patients for stress, anxiety and worry. At the root of this is our fear of change, regret, loss, pain, illness, suffering and our inability to let go.
We grasp to the hope of permanence or what once was, while fearing impermanence. Our minds conjure up stories, worries and fears, 90% of which never come to fruition. Life is ever-changing and impermanent. Grasping to the past, the present or to our worries leads to misery.
Acupuncture creates movement of Qi/Ki returning the body to a state of flow and in essence eliciting the change and movement we desperately fear.
Once we embrace the impermanence of life, our fears, anxieties and worries lift and our lives and minds become lighter and health and happiness returns.
